🌿 About The Green Room at 831
Welcome to The Green Room at 831 — a coastal-inspired art gallery and curated home boutique rooted in creativity, connection, and the beauty of everyday life.
Our name draws from "the green room," the magical space inside the barrel of a wave, and "831," a heartfelt number symbolizing home. Together, they reflect our mission: to create a space that feels like an effortless escape — joyful, comforting, and deeply personal.
A Gallery with Heart
At its core, The Green Room is a gallery space designed to showcase original works by emerging and established artists whose pieces evoke the textures, tones, and rhythms of coastal living. Each collection is thoughtfully curated to bring warmth, movement, and a sense of place into your home.
As a painter myself, I understand the vulnerability and joy that come with creating and sharing art. This perspective shapes how we present each artist's work — with care, context, and storytelling that honors their process.
A Personal Journey
My background includes five years in interior design and a lifelong passion for travel, art, and the laid-back charm of life by the sea. Having lived along the coasts of the U.S. and Spain, I've always been drawn to spaces that feel collected, soulful, and sunlit.
Motherhood has deepened that connection. I began introducing my son to painting when he was just three months old — not for the outcome, but for the experience of creating together. That spirit of curiosity and playfulness continues to inspire the way I curate both the gallery and our home offerings.
More Than a Gallery
In addition to original artwork, we offer a selection of vintage and artisan home goods — from textured textiles to timeless decor — all chosen to complement the art and bring a layered, lived-in feel to your space.
Whether you're a collector, a fellow creative, or simply someone who finds joy in beautiful things, I hope The Green Room at 831 feels like a place where you can slow down, explore, and find something that speaks to you.
