Welcome to The Pool House
"There’s a house everyone returns to in the summer.
The doors are always open, towels hang over the chairs, and the pool is always a little warmer than you expect.
Days are slow here. Coffee in the morning, swimming in the afternoon, and dinners that last until it’s dark.
Evenings are the best part. Dinner outside, music playing, lights on in the pool, and someone always says we should all jump in again.
This book is filled with the artwork, interiors, gardens, and objects that belong in this house.

About the Book
The Pool House is an upcoming art and design book published by The Green Room at 831.
This book is planned to feature a curated collection of artwork alongside interiors, pools, gardens, outdoor living spaces, patterns, vintage decor, and objects that reflect the lifestyle and aesthetic of the pool house.
Artwork will be the primary focus of the book, supported by interior and exterior spaces that fit the theme. The book will be designed as a high quality, printed, hard cover coffee table book.

Where The Pool House Comes From
The Pool House began as the first chapter of our book The Art of Saltwater.
It was meant to be just a chapter, but the house never really left. It slowly became a place in my mind. It became a house built around a pool, filled with artwork, interiors, gardens, patterns, dinners outside, and long summer days.
This book is a continuation of that place and everything that belongs in it.

This call is open globally. You are welcome to submit your work from any country.

Submission Details
- Artists may submit up to 3 works
- Designers may submit up to 2 projects
- All submissions must be original work
- Selected artists/designers will be notified by email
- Selected work will be published in the book
- All selected contributors will be credited in the book
Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026
Book Release: 2027

Image Requirements
Please submit high-resolution images suitable for print.
Image Guidelines:
- Minimum 3000 pixels on the longest side
- 300 DPI preferred
- JPEG or PNG
- Images must be clear and well lit
- Crop out frames/background unless intentional
- File names should be formatted like:
lastname_title.jpg
Images that do not meet resolution requirements may not be usable for print.
