Collection: Layane Smith

Born and raised in Brazil, she grew up surrounded by nature, always drawing and creating. Though she didn’t begin painting until early adulthood, it quickly became clear that this was both a passion and a calling. After taking classes in Brazil’s big cities, she began teaching beginner painting lessons in her hometown within just six months.

After moving to the United States, she continued expanding her art education and has now been painting for over 20 years. Her paintings are inspired by the natural world and the deeper connection between spirit and creation. She hopes her work encourages others to find joy in everyday beauty and to live with a greater sense of connection and meaning.

She now resides on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where the ocean, beaches, and landscapes provide endless inspiration. When she is not painting, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and walking the shores near their home.
