Julie Maida is the founder and artist behind Creative Garden Studio. She feels most alive and inspired when she is outdoors, exploring everything the natural world has to offer. She is in awe of the beauty and complexity of nature and she paints the feelings and experiences she encounters outside.

Her goal is create work that brings beauty, joy, and serenity into homes and interior spaces. She loves the relational part of art, being able to connect with people through it, and share her love of nature (especially the beach) with other people.

She creates bespoke pieces for homes and interior designers, and has been featured in major retail stores. She is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be a full-time artist and loves to create meaningful art for elegant interior spaces.

Subjects & Style:

Julie paints nature themes in serene colors and her art often feels ethereal and serene. She loves to paint abstract and ethereal landscapes, animals, botanical art, and she often has coastal themes and colors in her art (lots of blues and greens). She uses a variety of media, but her color palettes and the "look and feel" of her work are the same which keeps her work recognizable and consistent.

Size Range:

All sizes! She loves to create art and enjoys everything from tiny corner pieces to giant statement pieces.

Price Range:

$200 for a small piece to upwards of $4,000 for a very large piece or collection of pieces that go together.

She is flexible and will work with the client.
